As development activities have intensified CPT has made, and continues to make, significant financial and operational investments in facilities and staff.
CPT currently operates from a 10,000 square feet research and development facility in Newhaven, Sussex, UK. Design work is performed using the latest 3D CAD/CAM software and development work is carried out in a laboratory test cell equipped with dynamometers, temperature and flow measuring sensors and control devices.
The manufacturing area is equipped with numerous machine tools including state-of -the-art CNC machining centres. All manufacturing of test, development and prototype systems is carried out in-house, including the electronic control systems.
CPT also has a wide range of vibration and climatic test equipment which is used, together with the engineering staff's experience of working to OEM standards, to develop the CESAR systems to a 10 year life in all anticipated operating conditions.
CPT has a team of talented and highly qualified design and engineering specialists at its Newhaven site. These engineers together have over 100 years combined experience in the automotive industry with particular expertise in test and development, materials sourcing, process design and cost control, which is invaluable as CPT moves into the important phase of commercialisation.
